About the Position

We are recruiting for a Luxury Watch Sales Consultant to join a prestigious watch boutique within Selfridges, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, service-led sales professional with a passion for luxury watches, strong client relationship skills, and a commercial mindset.

In this role, you will support clients through a personalised and engaging watch-buying experience, helping them explore timepieces that suit their lifestyle, preferences, and reason for purchase. You will provide clear, knowledgeable guidance across design, craftsmanship, materials, movements, heritage, and aftercare, ensuring each client receives a premium and memorable service.

The successful candidate will be polished, approachable, and confident working with a range of luxury clients, from first-time watch buyers to returning customers, collectors, and High Net Worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients in a warm, professional, and engaging manner.
• Deliver a personalised luxury client experience from initial greeting through to aftercare.
• Understand each client’s lifestyle, preferences, occasion, and purchase motivations.
• Advise clients on luxury watches, including materials, movements, design, craftsmanship, heritage, and care.
• Support both first-time luxury watch buyers and more experienced clients with confidence and professionalism.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including High Net Worth individuals and watch enthusiasts.
• Drive sales through consultative selling, strong product knowledge, and client engagement.
• Support clienteling activity, appointments, follow-ups, and aftersales enquiries.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell in a natural and appropriate way.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle client queries, special requests, objections, and aftercare needs with professionalism.
• Maintain excellent boutique standards, including product presentation, organisation, and visual merchandising.
• Support in-store events, product launches, appointments, and promotional activity where required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider boutique and department store teams.

About the Candidate

• Minimum of one year’s experience in luxury retail, watches, fine jewellery, or a premium client-facing sales environment.
• Strong interest in luxury watches, horology, craftsmanship, and brand heritage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident working with luxury clients, including High Net Worth individuals and watch enthusiasts.
• Commercially focused with a target-driven approach.
• Polished, professional, and well-presented.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a high-quality client experience.
• Organised and confident managing multiple client interactions in a busy luxury retail environment.
• Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
• Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends where required.
