About the Position

We are recruiting for an experienced Store Manager to lead a luxury designer fine jewellery boutique in Cadogan Gardens, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a polished, personable, and commercially driven retail leader with a passion for fine jewellery, client relationships, and creating a warm, memorable boutique experience.

This role is suited to someone who understands the importance of storytelling within jewellery sales. The boutique offers beautifully crafted fine jewellery pieces, including everyday luxury, meaningful gifts, personalised styling, and special occasion jewellery. As Store Manager, you will lead the team in delivering a highly personal service that feels considered, relaxed, and elevated.

You will be responsible for driving boutique performance, developing client relationships, and maintaining exceptional standards across the store. The successful candidate will be confident working with High Net Worth clients, loyal local customers, and international visitors, while creating a welcoming environment that reflects the creativity and individuality of the jewellery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the boutique team to deliver excellent client service and strong commercial results.
  • Drive individual and team sales performance against targets and KPIs.
  • Create a warm, polished, and personal boutique environment for every client.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients, including High Net Worth individuals and loyal local customers.
  • Support clients with fine jewellery styling, gifting, milestone purchases, personalised pieces, and special occasion jewellery.
  • Coach the team on product storytelling, clienteling, styling, and consultative selling.
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance across fine jewellery, diamonds, coloured gemstones, precious metals, craftsmanship, and care.
  • Oversee clienteling activity, appointments, follow-ups, aftercare, and private client interactions.
  • Maintain excellent boutique standards, including visual merchandising, product presentation, organisation, and stock management.
  • Handle client enquiries, special requests, escalations, and aftercare with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support boutique events, collection launches, private appointments, and local client development initiatives.
  • Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, reporting, rota planning, administration, and compliance.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing team performance management.
  • Act as a strong brand ambassador, representing the boutique with warmth, professionalism, and commercial focus.


About the Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager, Boutique Manager, Assistant Manager, or strong senior sales leader within luxury retail, fine jewellery, fashion jewellery, watches, or a premium client-facing environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Confident leading, coaching, and motivating a boutique team.
  • Passion for designer fine jewellery, craftsmanship, gemstones, styling, and client storytelling.
  • Experience building relationships with luxury clients, including High Net Worth individuals.
  • Strong clienteling skills with the ability to develop repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Polished, professional, and well-presented.
  • Warm, approachable, and confident delivering a personal luxury service.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing boutique operations, stock, reporting, and team performance.
  • Positive, proactive, and hands-on in approach.
  • Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends where required.
