Fine Jewellery Client Advisor – Selfridges

About the Position

We are recruiting for a Fine Jewellery Client Advisor to join a luxury jewellery boutique within Selfridges, Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and commercially driven sales professional with experience in fine jewellery or luxury retail to represent a prestigious brand in one of the world’s most iconic department stores.

In this role, you will deliver an exceptional client experience, building lasting relationships with both new and existing customers, including High Net Worth clients. You will use your product knowledge, styling eye, and understanding of fine jewellery to guide clients through their purchase journey, while contributing to store sales targets and the overall success of the boutique.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a warm, professional, and engaging manner.
• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and purchase motivations.
• Support clients in browsing and selecting fine jewellery pieces suited to their style and occasion.
• Build and develop strong relationships with clients, including High Net Worth customers.
• Confidently handle client queries, objections, and challenges with professionalism.
• Provide accurate and detailed product information, including materials, gemstones, craftsmanship, and care instructions.
• Upsell and cross-sell jewellery and related accessories where appropriate.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Participate in in-store events, clienteling initiatives, and promotional activities.

About the Candidate

• Minimum of one year’s experience in fine jewellery, luxury retail, or a similar premium sales environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven sales ability with a target-driven approach.
• Passion for fine jewellery, craftsmanship, styling, and storytelling.
• Confident working with luxury clients, including High Net Worth individuals.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and professional in presentation.
• Positive team player with a proactive attitude.
