Store Director – Luxury Watches & Jewellery

Location: White City, London

Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 per annum plus commission


About the Position

We are recruiting for an experienced Store Director to lead a prestigious luxury watches and jewellery boutique in White City, London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior retail leader with a strong background in luxury retail, high-value clienteling, team development, and commercial store management.

As Store Director, you will take ownership of the boutique’s performance, leading the team to deliver exceptional client service, strong sales results, and a polished luxury experience. You will be responsible for driving commercial success while maintaining the highest standards across client experience, operations, visual presentation, team culture, and brand representation.

This role would suit a commercially astute and people-focused leader who is confident working with High Net Worth clients, collectors, international customers, and discerning luxury clients within a high-profile retail destination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall performance, operations, and daily running of the boutique.
  • Drive sales performance across individual and team targets, KPIs, conversion, clienteling, and CRM activity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team within a luxury retail environment.
  • Deliver and maintain exceptional client service standards across every stage of the client journey.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with High Net Worth individuals, collectors, VIP clients, and international customers.
  • Act as a senior ambassador for the boutique, representing the business with professionalism, discretion, and confidence.
  • Support the team in delivering knowledgeable guidance across luxury watches, fine jewellery, craftsmanship, materials, heritage, and care.
  • Oversee clienteling strategy, private appointments, follow-ups, events, launches, and aftersales relationships.
  • Identify commercial opportunities to grow sales, increase client retention, and improve boutique performance.
  • Manage boutique operations, including rotas, reporting, stock control, audits, security, administration, and compliance.
  • Maintain excellent boutique standards, including visual merchandising, product presentation, organisation, and front-of-house experience.
  • Handle high-value client enquiries, escalations, special requests, and complex aftercare matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial priorities, operational expectations, and boutique standards.
  • Foster a positive, polished, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.


About the Candidate

  • Previous experience as a Store Director, Boutique Manager, Store Manager, or senior retail leader within luxury watches, fine jewellery, or high-value luxury retail.
  • Strong commercial track record with proven experience driving sales, KPIs, and clienteling performance.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing client-facing teams.
  • Strong understanding of luxury client expectations, high-value sales, and relationship-led selling.
  • Confident working with High Net Worth individuals, VIP clients, collectors, and international customers.
  • Knowledge of, or genuine passion for, luxury watches, fine jewellery, craftsmanship, heritage, and client storytelling.
  • Skilled in CRM, clienteling, appointment-led selling, and long-term client relationship management.
  • Strong operational understanding, including stock, reporting, compliance, security, and boutique standards.
  • Polished, professional, well-presented, and confident representing a prestigious luxury boutique.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised, commercially focused, and solutions-driven.
  • Able to balance hands-on shop floor leadership with strategic boutique management.
  • Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and bank holidays where required.
