About the Position
We are recruiting for a Luxury Watch Sales Consultant to join a prestigious high-horology watch boutique within Harrods, London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a polished and knowledgeable sales professional with a strong passion for fine watchmaking, craftsmanship, and delivering a highly personalised client experience.
In this role, you will work with clients seeking exceptional timepieces, from experienced collectors to High Net Worth individuals looking for something truly distinctive. You will take time to understand each client’s collection, preferences, lifestyle, and purchase motivations, offering considered guidance with confidence, discretion, and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be commercially driven, client-focused, and comfortable representing high-value luxury products in one of London’s most prestigious retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients in a warm, professional, and polished manner.
- Deliver a refined and highly personalised luxury client experience from greeting through to aftercare.
- Build lasting relationships with new and existing clients, including High Net Worth individuals, international clients, and serious watch collectors.
- Understand client preferences, collection interests, lifestyle, and purchase motivations.
- Advise clients on high-end timepieces, including craftsmanship, movements, complications, finishing, materials, design, heritage, and care.
- Provide a discreet and consultative service suited to high-value purchases.
- Support clienteling activity, private appointments, follow-ups, and aftersales enquiries.
- Drive sales through strong product knowledge, relationship-building, and a considered approach to selling.
- Identify opportunities to develop repeat business and long-term client loyalty.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle client enquiries, objections, special requests, and aftercare needs with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain excellent boutique standards, including product presentation, organisation, and visual merchandising.
- Support in-store events, private viewings, launches, and client-focused initiatives where required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider boutique and department store teams.
About the Candidate
- Minimum of one year’s experience in luxury retail, watches, fine jewellery, or a high-value client-facing sales environment.
- Strong interest in fine watchmaking, horology, craftsmanship, complications, and luxury heritage.
- Previous experience with high-value watches or collector-led clients would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident working with High Net Worth individuals, international clients, and watch collectors.
- Commercially focused with a target-driven approach.
- Polished, professional, and well-presented.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver a discreet, high-quality client experience.
- Organised and confident managing client appointments, follow-ups, and multiple interactions in a luxury setting.
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends where required.
