Luxury Watch Sales Consultant


Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Covent Garden, London

Salary: £30,000 per annum plus commission


About the Position

We are recruiting for a Luxury Watch Sales Consultant to join a prestigious watch boutique in Covent Garden, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and commercially minded sales professional with a passion for luxury watches, craftsmanship, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

In this role, you will support clients through a highly personalised sales journey, taking the time to understand their lifestyle, preferences, collection interests, and reason for purchase. Whether assisting a first-time luxury watch buyer or an experienced collector, you will provide knowledgeable, discreet, and attentive service that reflects the standards expected within the luxury watch sector.

You will play an important role in building long-term relationships with new and existing clients, including High Net Worth individuals, while contributing to boutique sales performance and maintaining an elevated store environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients in a warm, professional, and polished manner.
  • Deliver a personalised luxury client experience from initial greeting through to aftercare.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences, lifestyle, collection interests, and purchase motivations.
  • Advise clients on luxury watches, including materials, movements, complications, craftsmanship, design, and care.
  • Support both first-time luxury watch buyers and experienced collectors with confidence and discretion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including High Net Worth individuals.
  • Develop repeat business through clienteling, follow-ups, appointments, and aftercare.
  • Work towards individual and team sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell in a natural and appropriate way.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle client queries, objections, special requests, and aftercare needs with professionalism.
  • Maintain excellent boutique standards, including product presentation, visual merchandising, and organisation.
  • Support in-store events, private appointments, launches, and promotional activity where required.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider boutique team to support daily operations and overall store success.


About the Candidate

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in luxury retail, watches, fine jewellery, or a premium client-facing sales environment.
  • Strong interest in luxury watches, horology, craftsmanship, and client storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident working with luxury clients, including High Net Worth individuals and collectors.
  • Commercially focused with a target-driven approach.
  • Polished, professional, and well-presented.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver a discreet, high-quality client experience.
  • Organised and confident managing multiple client interactions in a boutique environment.
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
  • Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends where required.
