About the Position
We are recruiting for a Client Advisor to join a prestigious luxury fine jewellery boutique in Covent Garden, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a polished, personable, and commercially focused sales professional with a passion for fine jewellery, meaningful gifting, and exceptional client service.
In this role, you will support clients through a warm and personalised jewellery buying journey, helping them find pieces that celebrate important moments, reflect their personal style, or become part of their everyday collection. You will provide knowledgeable guidance across fine jewellery, diamonds, precious metals, bridal jewellery, gifting, styling, and care.
The successful candidate will be confident building lasting relationships with new and returning clients, including High Net Worth individuals, international visitors, and luxury customers shopping in one of London’s most vibrant retail destinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients in a warm, professional, and polished manner.
- Deliver a personalised luxury client experience from initial greeting through to aftercare.
- Understand each client’s style, occasion, preferences, and purchase motivations.
- Advise clients across fine jewellery, diamonds, precious metals, craftsmanship, styling, and care.
- Support clients with bridal jewellery, milestone purchases, meaningful gifting, and timeless everyday pieces.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including High Net Worth individuals and international customers.
- Drive sales through consultative selling, product knowledge, client storytelling, and thoughtful recommendations.
- Support clienteling activity, appointments, follow-ups, and aftercare enquiries.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell in a natural and client-appropriate way.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle client enquiries, objections, special requests, and aftercare needs with professionalism.
- Maintain excellent boutique standards, including product presentation, organisation, and visual merchandising.
- Support in-store events, clienteling initiatives, launches, and promotional activity where required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider boutique team to support daily operations and overall boutique success.
About the Candidate
- Minimum of one year’s experience in fine jewellery, luxury retail, or a premium client-facing sales environment.
- Strong passion for fine jewellery, diamonds, craftsmanship, styling, and client storytelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident working with luxury clients, including High Net Worth individuals and international customers.
- Commercially focused with a target-driven approach.
- Polished, professional, and well-presented.
- Warm, approachable, and confident delivering a high-quality client experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends where required.
